2004Scape Group

I really have to come up with a catchy name for this. Everything I've discarded so far has sounded like innuendo and that's not quite what I'm trying to do. Really though - it's a way for me to share what I enjoy about the game with friends of mine who don't want to spend tens of thousands of hours of their lives committing to it.

General Overview

The idea is to rebalance the game to allow for smaller groups of friends to play and share progress. Think of it as hosting a MineCraft server where everyone can collaborate and work together. Some ideas I've been toying with are to update bosses with actual game mechanics and reduce the amount of face tanking. More structures in the world that become permanent additions you can gather resources to build up. A shared storage for you and your buds, your pals, your good time boys to place materials that everyone can use. A real stretch but a neat thing would be shared quest progress, and more quests that focus on small groups of players to do.

Experience Rates

It's no secret to anyone that RuneScape is a grind and a half. Some maniacs have played that game for 20 years and logged well over a year's worth of playtime, not that I'd know anything about that. My friends, however, hate that. Number go up just isn't good enough these days, I suppose. To remedy this, instead of applying a blanket experience rate multiplier, I'll be going through the existing content and updating experience rates.
